On your arrival we provide afternoon tea which you can have in your room, the dining room or if the weather is fine, the garden. After a comfortable night, wake to a hearty Full English or Continental breakfast which will set you up for your day’s exploration. The village of Northlew is just eight miles outside of Okehampton and within easy reach of Dartmoor, Exmoor and the coast. You will find in your room a folder showing many places of interest which you might like to visit, covering the local Okehampton and Dartmoor area as well as things to do and see in Devon as a whole. If you wish us to make a dinner reservation at a local restaurant, we will be pleased to do that for you.

Brook Cottage
Brook Cottage is a Grade II listed building that dates back to the 18th century and is thought to be a Devon Cross Passage House. It is set in a very pretty garden which you are welcome to explore, or if you wish you may just sit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity – interrupted only by the sound of birds, the trickle of the little stream and the very occasional passing car or tractor.
